The Bluffs

The Bluffs are a private residence which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Here we planted a resiliency garden. The Resiliency plants are organisms that hold water. Just when you think they are going to die they come back to life. This project was important because it represented men and women working side by side. The union that we created in the garden was symbolic of men and women tending to each other. We covered the weeds which represented the weaknesses and things that entangle us. Our work declared that we can grow together. You cannot invest in one without investing in the other. We became the living symbol. When we come from a place of respect for one another, we can put our hands in the garden and tend to each other.
